How many people have really never looked at a picture of some gorgeous celebrity and wondered, how do they look younger in their 40s and 50s than they did in their 20s? I’ll admit this one bothers me. I know all about the expensive cosmetic surgery and impressive airbrushing techniques, but it still seems like famous people age in reverse at some point.
The reality is that these celebrities’ careers depend on their looks and physical conditioning. We see the examples, both good and bad plastered across the magazines in the supermarket check out. But there are skincare professionals to the stars who have found impressively effective means of treating the normal signs of aging and bringing out the healthy, glowing skin we see in magazines and movies. One such miracle worker is Tracie Martyn, who appeared on an episode of Oprah. Tracie recommends a four-step process that involves skin-type specific cleansing, exfoliation, an antioxidant cream that nourishes and hydrates, and the religious use of sunblock to prevent further signs of aging. Another option is to look at the active ingredients in expensive celebrity skincare products and find a less expensive product with similar construct.
The Right Anti-Aging Products. This overlaps with the previous category, but it is an essential part of any anti-aging skincare regimen. A lot of anti-aging products are celebrity endorsed, and many people buy products based on celebrity endorsement. The problem there is that those celebrities may not even use the product or, at the very least, use other more effective products that produce the healthy, wrinkle-free skin. If you find a celebrity whose skin you admire has spilled his or her anti-aging secrets, absolutely try the product they actually use on their skin. Chances are, it will work for you, too.
